Are you considering working for yourself or starting a new venture?

Let's create your successful venture and a more fulfilling life

So, you’re looking for greater meaning and purpose from your life-work balance. Or you’ve lost your source of income. Maybe you have an awesome skill you want to turn into a successful business.

There are so many things to consider, but the answer to creating a venture that you love starts off with what I like to call the ‘3 key ingredient groups’:

  • Your personal needs, dreams and boundaries.
  • Your talents, resources and constraints.
  • Opportunities that are suitable for you.

Once you discover and understand how these groups apply to your unique situation, your journey will be filled with greater ease, clarity and direction.

Let’s get started, one step at a time

It’s not always easy to figure out which step will lead you in the right direction, especially if you’re working alone and with limited resources.
So here’s some help moving forward:

1. Get it out on paper and
discover the bigger picture.

While considering an idea for a venture we tend to cycle between similar thoughts, often without arriving at a plan. Completing the LeanSeed Life+Venture Kit will bring you clarity and inspiration for your next step.

2. Start with a “safe”and cost-effective test of your idea.

Next, let your answers guide the creation of a basic concept for your product or service to test with your customers. Focus on something that takes minimal time and money, yet delivers real value.

3. Find your feet and grow. Systematically.

Now, take what you’ve learned from Step 2 to improve your basic concept. What worked and what didn’t work in your first test? Review your roadmap and update it where relevant. Now that you know more, what can you test next?

“Do the best you can until you know better.
Then when you know better, do better.”

Kind words from those who have trained with me

The strategy course with Leanseed.co made me aware of how easily I make assumptions about people's needs, and how I am focused on solutions rather than better understanding the need.

I recommend Leanseed to anyone who wants to start a venture with little resources and needs advice and practical guidance along the way.

Yolande Steenkamp, SASenior Lecturer: Leadership

Leanseed’s strategic training would be useful to both new startups and veteran entrepreneurs. I'd especially recommend it to anyone who may not see themselves as particularly business-minded.

I learnt how to ‘play’ more freely with ideas and problems in and beyond my own profession, leading me to develop ventures into industries I had not considered before.

Quintes Kloppers, UKSports Therapist

I was struggling to get clarity on what to do next with my small business and Vicka helped me define my business model, as well as come up with new ways to find new clients.

I now have the tools and the knowledge to carry on growing. I would highly recommend Leanseed if you are struggling starting with your new venture or even advice and guidance on how to carry on.
